In this role you will design, implement, and automate Windows-based infrastructure for a high-velocity, technology-driven quant trading firm. You will operate across Windows, Linux, and hybrid environments, building scalable platform engineering solutions for OS, identity, virtualization, networks, and services. You’ll collaborate with smart cross-functional teams to solve complex infrastructure challenges and drive automation initiatives. This is a hands-on, high-expertise role in a demanding, fast-paced setting that rewards technical depth and problem solving.

- Design, implement, and integrate infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
- Maintain operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization, core network services, messaging, and endpoints in Windows and Linux environments
- Lead platform engineering designs and automation initiatives
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor infrastructure with a focus on reliability and performance
- Collaborate with on-prem and cloud teams to support hybrid environments
- Apply automation using PowerShell (and some C# exposure) to streamline operations
- Support common Windows Server applications (Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, ADFS) and related tools
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with continual change
- Possibly engage in containerized workloads on Windows and Linux
- STEM degree
- Significant Windows systems automation experience
- PowerShell (ideally some C# exposure)
- Deep understanding of Windows platform technologies (Active Directory, Failover Clustering)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; familiarity with tracing tools
- Experience with Windows Server applications and management tools (Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, ADFS) is preferred
- Knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts
- Experience integrating systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments
- Experience with containers on Windows and Linux is preferred
