Windows Linux Sys Admin

As a Systems Administrator, you will maintain and optimize Windows and Linux environments within a high-performance hedge fund setting. You’ll manage servers, virtualization, and cloud services, ensuring robust data protection and disaster recovery. You’ll collaborate with IT and business teams to keep critical trading and analytical systems stable. This role offers a dynamic, tech-driven culture and relocation support to Cyprus.

• Maintain and operate Windows and Linux server environments and virtualization
• Install, upgrade, and manage hardware/software; manage virtual servers and automation
• Support hardware (servers, switches, storage) and Office 365 environment; provisioning and user support
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues with diagnostics and documentation
• Maintain IT infrastructure documentation for planning and upgrades
• Perform or delegate backups and implement DR, failover processes
• Lead desktop and helpdesk support; ensure timely resolution of issues
• Implement IT operations best practices including security, storage, data protection, and DR protocols

• 2-5 years of Windows Server and/or Linux administration experience
• Experience with Cloud services (Azure, Office 365)
• Knowledge of IT operations best practices including security, storage, DR
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of systems, networking software, hardware, and protocols
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Practical problem-solving skills; ability to handle large datasets; good communication
• Cyprus relocation is offered to join the role
