Windows Server Administrator Patch Management

Windows Server administration expertise is central to this onsite contract supporting enterprise patching, vulnerability remediation, and health validation. Use PowerShell and troubleshooting skills daily.

This six to twelve month contract serves the BFSI domain in an enterprise environment. The work focuses on Windows Server administration, Microsoft patching tools, Qualys VMDR, Qualys Patch Management, and vulnerability remediation. You will also assess application dependencies and restart behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Windows Server environments in enterprise settings
• Manage patching with WSUS, SCCM, or MECM
• Remediate vulnerabilities using Qualys tools
• Validate pre-patch and post-patch server health
• Document risks, failures, rollback needs, and findings

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Windows Server administration experience
• Experience with Microsoft server patching tools
• Knowledge of Qualys VMDR and Patch Management
• Proficiency in PowerShell, services, logs, and registry settings
• Experience troubleshooting dependencies and restart behaviour
