Overview

In this role you will own the Windows infrastructure that underpins critical business operations. You will maintain and improve a mixed Windows and Linux environment across physical and virtual machines, with a focus on Windows servers and desktops. You’ll plan deployments, respond to high-paced demands, and collaborate with smart colleagues to deliver robust, scalable systems. Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize Windows servers and desktops within a mixed Windows/Linux environment
  • Plan, deploy, and improve Windows infrastructure to support business continuity
  • Monitor hardware and performance, identify bottlenecks, and tune systems
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and deployments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and support rapid change
  • Ensure core services (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP) are healthy and secure
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows 10 and Server 2012R2/2016
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting
  • Strong Active Directory/DNS/DHCP knowledge
  • Experience with hardware monitoring and performance tuning
  • Hands-on in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
  • Networking experience
  • London-based (or willing to relocate)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a smaller agile company with continual change
