In this role you will own and evolve the Windows infrastructure for a global, high-performance quant trading environment. You will design, build, and automate the Windows layer while collaborating with a top-tier team across Linux and Windows, ensuring continuous availability. You’ll translate business requirements into scalable, resilient systems and deploy improvements at pace in a demanding setting. - Manage and improve the Windows infrastructure across physical and virtual environments
- Lead technical direction of Windows systems architecture and automation
- Develop and extend PowerShell-based automation to support deployments and operations
- Maintain and optimize Active Directory/Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS
- Perform hardware monitoring and performance tuning for Windows environments
- Plan and execute Windows deployments and migrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile setting
- Provide hands-on expertise and mentorship to junior engineers
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Windows desktop and server OS
- Experience leading technical teams
- Experience architecting Windows systems
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills (large PowerShell environment)
- Deep experience with Active Directory/Group Policy
- Deep experience with DHCP and DNS
- Networking experience
- Hands-on in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- London-based or willing to relocate
