Wintel Infrastructure Engineer

In this role you will provide expert third-line support for enterprise Windows environments within a secure client setting. You will own complex incidents, problems and changes, collaborating with customers and service teams to ensure secure, reliable, high-performing infrastructure. The position blends operational support with project work across a diverse technology stack, underpinned by a security-focused culture. You will help drive continuous improvements and contribute to large-scale enterprise delivery.

• Provide expert third-line support across enterprise Windows environments.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents and problems, delivering immediate fixes and long-term improvements.
• Design, implement and support infrastructure solutions across Windows platforms.
• Support infrastructure projects, upgrades and technical change activities.
• Manage workloads to meet SLAs and priorities.
• Build strong relationships with customers, project teams and stakeholders.
• Review services to identify improvements in reliability and user experience.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
• Participate in on-call rota and support critical service restoration.

• Experience in a third-line role within a managed services environment.
• SC clearance (or willing to undertake).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work with limited supervision.
