Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex WordPress websites, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to bring website projects to life.
• Implement WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring they meet client specifications and are optimized for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow best practices for web development.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress websites as needed.
• Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure websites function correctly across various devices and browsers.
• Experience with website optimization techniques, including performance tuning and caching.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery).
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to WordPress performance, security, and functionality, employing debugging tools and techniques.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities, including regular updates, backups, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Must Have Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugins, including custom theme/plugin development.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
