Senior WordPress Web Developer

Location: In-person, Saskatoon Office

Employment Type: Full-Time

Optimize is seeking a Senior WordPress Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. You'll work with clients and our internal team to build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly websites that help businesses succeed online.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss website requirements.


• Design and develop custom WordPress websites.


• Build website architecture, themes, and plugins.


• Customize WordPress plugins, stylesheets, and responsive layouts.


• Manage back-end development, database integration, and server connectivity.


• Conduct website performance testing and optimization.


• Troubleshoot website and content issues.


• Provide WordPress training to clients.


• Monitor and maintain live websites.

Qualifications

• Web development certification required.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.


• Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.


• Knowledge of responsive design, website performance optimization, and current web development best practices.
