Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant

As a Workday Consultant at Kainos, you will design, configure and tailor Workday solutions to meet client needs, collaborating with delivery teams to deliver value. You translate requirements into practical configurations while maintaining high quality and confidentiality. You’ll engage with customers in a consultative, often remote, setting and contribute to continuous improvements in processes and tools. This role offers exposure to enterprise-scale Workday deployments and cross-functional collaboration within a people-first culture.

• Specify, design and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions
• Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure fit-for-purpose and commercially viable outcomes
• Translate customer requirements into actionable configurations and demonstrations
• Engage in customer-facing activities, workshops and presentations
• Plan workload, meet deadlines and operate with minimal supervision
• Adhere to standards, ensure data security and confidentiality
• Rotates through Workday delivery services (Consulting and Application Management Services)
• Travel to customer sites as needed (regionally)

• Very good Workday knowledge in HCM and/or Financials/Payroll and Recruitment/Benefits
• Strong customer focus and experience in a consultancy context
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues, including remote settings
• Awareness of project dynamics and commercial considerations
• Ability to work independently and within remote teams
• Planning skills and deadline discipline
• Consulting skills such as presenting and facilitating workshops
• Commitment to quality, standards, and data confidentiality
• Awareness of company strategy and how to support it
• Willingness to learn in-depth regulatory requirements and product subject matter
• Experience with post-deployment services is a plus
