Workday Financials Consultant

In this role you bridge business and technical teams to solve complex Workday Financials challenges, leading transformation, implementation, and operational phases. You will drive end-to-end Workday Financials projects, shape integration strategies, and mentor delivery teams. Your work will impact client outcomes through scalable solutions and robust data migrations. This position offers exposure to global projects and a path to senior leadership in delivery.

• Serve as a Workday Financials subject matter expert across design, configuration, testing, and implementation
• Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations from discovery through post-go-live support
• Facilitate workshops and translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
• Drive technical solution design and integration strategy between Workday and external systems
• Identify and manage dependencies across functional and technical workstreams
• Lead, mentor, and oversee consultants and analysts to ensure high-quality delivery
• Act as trusted advisor to client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Support data migration and legacy system replacement
• Perform hands-on configuration and technical activities (BP/SEC configuration, data loads, integration development)
• Design and deliver robust integrations and extend Workday using relevant technologies
• Communicate progress, risks, and updates to project teams and senior stakeholders
• Take lead roles such as Delivery Lead, Integration Lead, or Solution Architect when required
• Reinforce delivery standards and best practices, contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building

• 5+ years of Workday Financials implementation experience
• Strong functional expertise across Core Financials
• Experience delivering end-to-end Workday implementations with both functional and technical responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations: Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors (including PECI), RaaS, REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience with Workday Extend for custom applications
• Experience integrating with third-party systems (payroll providers, banks, CRM, etc.)
• Strong data migration, transformation, and integration pattern knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills
• Willingness to travel on-site as needed
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (UK resident for last five years)
