Workday Technical Manager

Our Technical Manager position focuses on leading the implementation life cycle for cloud-based enterprise systems. Responsibilities include planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go-live, and post-production support, often in collaboration with Huron and client teams. The role offers high visibility and a dynamic work environment.
Ideal candidates are highly capable team players with strong project management, design documentation, end-user training, business process modification, and testing skills. They bring passion for design, creation, and leadership.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience as a technical lead and/or architect on cloud-based enterprise system implementations.
- 2-3 years of experience with complex systems integrations, data conversions, and end-to-end technical work-stream ownership.
- Must have experience managing a team.
- Must have experience using Studio.
- Experience with Orchestrate is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with project team and client leadership to understand and resolve client problems, providing appropriate technical recommendations aligned with business needs.
- Implement new Workday integrations, inbound and outbound EIBs.
- Manage and implement Workday Integration enhancements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design and implement solutions.
- Comfortable interacting with varying levels of client personnel based on project need.
- Deep expertise in one or more technical areas of cloud-based ERP, EPM, CRM, or Data Management solutions.
- Experience coaching and leading technical staff members.
- Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Willingness to travel.
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated base salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 (CAD). With annual incentive compensation, total compensation can reach $156,000 - $192,000 (CAD). The role also includes medical, dental, vision, and other wellness benefits in line with applicable laws.
