Overview

In this role, you support successful, low-risk Workday implementations by delivering structured test consultancy, preparation and management. You work with customers, implementation teams and partners to understand scope and risk, shaping test strategies and driving quality. You’ll design clear test scenarios, guide client-led execution, and help teams resolve blockers, aiming for smooth go-lives. You’ll grow your Workday testing expertise in a collaborative, people-first culture that values learning and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver testing services to customers through test consultancy, preparation and management
  • Review scope, designs and configurations to identify testing needs and risk
  • Contribute to test strategy, objectives, governance, environments, data, entry/exit criteria, reporting and delivery plans
  • Design effective test scenarios with traceability and cross-workstream touchpoints
  • Coordinate and monitor client-led test execution and guide progress and evidence
  • Support issue management and risk visibility with clear ownership and resolution coordination
  • Report status, dashboards, and participate in go-live readiness and test closure activities
  • Explain Workday testing approaches to customers and build tester capability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing assets, templates, and tools
  • Work as part of a collaborative team with customers and implementation partners
Key requirements
  • Genuine interest in building a long-term career in software testing with exposure to manual testing, QA, business analysis, software delivery or test consulting
  • Analytical and inquisitive mindset with interest in business processes and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and high-quality output
  • Strong written and verbal communication with customers and distributed teams
  • Customer-focused, collaborative approach and willingness to learn and share knowledge
  • Ability to organize, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and raise risks promptly
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote/hybrid team environment
  • Proactive, positive attitude to learning tools, methods, and technologies
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of scope, quality, risk and delivery commitments
  • Desirable: knowledge of test planning/design, client-led execution coordination, issue management, regression testing or test reporting
  • Desirable: Workday certification
  • Desirable: experience with cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financials/Payroll/CRM
