Overview

As a Workplace Tech Engineer in the SecOps team, you will provide hands-on IT and workplace technology support to around 200 colleagues and contractors from our London Paddington office. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, manage requests, and help keep hardware, networking, and AV systems running smoothly. You’ll improve internal tech processes and help scale SecOps as the organization grows. This role offers tangible impact within a fast-changing financial services environment and opportunities to work cross-functionally with facilities and security teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline IT support for colleagues and executives
  • Administer internal systems and manage hardware inventory
  • Onboard new starters and collaborate with facilities on office tech (AV, networking)
  • Process documentation and continue to improve internal tech workflows
  • Help scale SecOps as the organization grows
  • Assist with access management and security-related tasks
Key requirements
  • Experience providing IT support in a fast-paced environment (including executive-level support)
  • Strong Google Workspace administration
  • Experience with identity and access management tools (OneLogin)
  • Experience administering Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira Software)
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management and Endpoint Detection & Response
  • Strong MacOS support experience
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and office networks
  • Experience supporting AV solutions and office tech
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and own issues to resolution
  • Good communication skills and customer-focused support
  • Basic knowledge of code, APIs, and integrating tools
