Overview

In this role you will design cloud-based NoSQL solutions using DynamoDB and related AWS services, partnering with customers to shape scalable, low-latency data architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evangelize DynamoDB, influence product features, and enable field teams. You help customers choose the right database approaches and translate deep technical expertise into shareable reference architectures. This position offers exposure to startups and enterprises, with impact on AI-ready and IoT workloads at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with field sales, pre-sales, training and support to promote DynamoDB usage
  • Provide guidance on appropriate database services and approaches
  • Act as voice of the customer for DynamoDB feature prioritization
  • Lead enablement by training Solutions Architects and related roles
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge with customers and the AWS solutions architect community
  • Contribute to AWS Database Blog, service docs, and reference architectures
  • Present at industry events to educate customers and evangelize AWS and DynamoDB
  • Design database architectures across DynamoDB and other NoSQL services for diverse workloads
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience in IT development or consulting in software or internet industries
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures
  • Experience communicating to both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience in cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Trainer/mentorship capabilities
  • DynamoDB and DynamoDB Streams
  • GSI design and partition strategies
  • Experience with NoSQL architectures and multi-service integration
