Overview

In this role you will lead the direction and delivery of a low-latency, high-throughput eTrading UI platform. You will own the technology roadmap, mentor a UI team across onshore and offshore locations, and partner with regional and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality UI products. You will shape the UI architecture to sustain rapid data updates without compromising performance while driving best practices and a fast-paced, collaborative culture. This is a strategic, hands-on position with a meaningful impact on front-office trading workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Define and own the UI technical direction for a low-latency eTrading platform
  • Lead and mentor a UI development team across onshore and offshore locations
  • Manage end-to-end development stream: roadmap, sprint planning, dependency management with server-side teams
  • Architect and govern the UI layer (components, threading model, data binding) for high-throughput data flow
  • Collaborate with regional/global partners to deliver high-quality UI products
  • Engage with end-users to capture requirements and feed into the roadmap
  • Promote development practices such as pair programming, code reviews, and unit/regression testing
Key requirements
  • C# and WPF expert with deep knowledge of dispatcher, dependency properties, virtualization, and data-binding under high-frequency updates
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Development and leadership experience in complex, multi-threaded UI applications with low-latency messaging
  • Experience with multi-threading, low latency, high-performance components and GC tuning
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, Solaris and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with versioning tools (GIT), transport layers (TCP/WebSocket), Refinitiv, Tibco Rendezvous
  • Experience with debugging on Linux/Windows using profiling tools
