Overview

In this role you will upgrade, maintain and support z/OS environments and ISV products on client sites, ensuring stable and up-to-date mainframe systems. You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance platforms for large installations, including banking environments. The role requires off-hours support for software changes and effective communication with diverse audiences. This is a hands-on position in a global organization that values skilled, independent contributors who drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Upgrade, maintain and support the z/OS operating system
  • Upgrade, maintain and support ISV products from IBM and CA
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure stability, availability and efficiency of systems
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of z/OS systems programming experience
  • Very strong Parallel Sysplex skills
  • Extensive experience installing IBM and CA products
  • Experience in banking or large installation environments
  • Independent, proactive contributor with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to provide off-hours support for software changes
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
